" Hi OL, Holy Moly, that is one fantastic shooting bow!!! It arrived early this morning and since 9am all I've done is neglect the house chores and play with this nasty li'l devil out a the range - just got back for a late lunch.

She is fast, smooth, shock free, and just joy to shoot. This is the Best one piece longbow I've ever had in my bowhand. It took some getting use to the way the limbs loaded on the draw, too. Still, smoooooooth as silk. " Rob DiStefano, Park Ridge, NJ.

" Hi OL, Thought I would shoot you a quick note and let you know my thoughts on the ACS LB.

I have been shooting some tapered cedars spined at 55lbs. They are = cut to 27" BOP and am using 125 gr FP's. I figure this is equivalent to a 60-65lb spine arrow. My impressions of the bows shooting characteristics are:

The bow is very stable and forgiving-release errors are not magnified. Occasional errors in form are not amplified.

There is absolutely no handshock-the bow remains dead in the hand following the shot.

It pulls very smoothly and evenly-I like a bow that has early weight and builds smoothly from there. This bow has that.

The bow is very fast-in short, I never thought I could expect this kind of performance from a bow in the low 40's with my short drawlength. To have a bow that is forgiving and performs as well or better than my other bows that are 5-10 lbs heavier is amazing. To be able to drop that much poundage and still retain high performance has helped my accuracy tremendously. Any archer/bowhunter would benefit from this.

At this point, I see no downside in this design. Speed, stability and forgiveness in one bow; I'll take that any day. thanks, Zane Rakes"

Even the ol' bowyer gets lucky once in awhile with a Rio!
Here I was using a 62" longbow.
